This quote from Dr. Eugene Gan’s new book,¬†Infinite Bandwith: Encountering Christ in the Media, is especially true as we approach Christmas.

It’s almost impossible to find a radio station that is refraining from playing Christmas tunes¬†continuously, and ABC Family’s “25 Days of Christmas” offers a different holiday feature each day. E-mail chain letters start to pile up in inboxes (the best I’ve seen shows an “ultrasound” of Frosty the Snowman–a single snowflake) and smartphones are being used for everything from finding where fresh trees are sold to googling those tricky lyrics to “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

The principles outlined in Gan’s helpful book remind us that media can be powerful when used to showcase what is good, true, and beautiful. The following two clips creatively demonstrate just how good (and fun!) media can be:
