Timely Reminder of our Civic Duty
By CUF Staff | October 29, 2010
CatholicAction.org has posted an enlightening interview with Cardinal-elect Raymond Burke reiterating the message of the then-Archbishop of St. Louis’ pastoral letter on voting from 2004.
Archbishop Burke discusses with Catholic Action founder Thomas McKenna the principles every Catholic should take with them into the voting booth. ”As a bishop,” Burke states, “it’s my obligation in fact, to urge the faithful to carry out their civic duty in accord with their Catholic faith.”
With election day just around the corner, watch the interview and remember to vote!
