Big Surprise in Baltimore

This morning at the U.S. Bishops’ meeting in Baltimore, a surprise was unveiled when Archbishop Pietro Sambi, Apostolic Nuncio for the United States, announced Pope Benedict’s schedule for his 2008 trip to the U.S.
For most of the other speeches, a draft was given to the press prior to or during the address. When Archbishop Sambi gave his address, we were told that no drafts were available. Now I know why.
